hey sean thought of some ideas we could put on here, like about all the differnent training we do in the summer and winter, even could have a calnder of and coming events and a page for all the photos on and a page for the newsletter perhaps

Sounds a great idea Lionel – I have given you access, maybe you could add to the courses page and of course write any posts – for instance about the Surf Course you are currently helping with – or maybe the club house decorations that your group has been doing. For the pictures I will let you know who to access picasweb & how to put them on the site.

Hi there,

My name is Jennifer and I’m contacting you from a TV company in London called Rival Media. Here at Rival we are working on a brand new and very exciting lifeguarding TV series, and I was hoping for your help.

The observational documentary series will follow 6 ambitious 16 to 17 year olds being put through their paces at the world’s largest Lifeguarding Programme in California during the summer of 2008. We’re now looking for those lucky 16 to 17 year olds who have stamina and the character to make it through, and who will be available for filming from the 28th of June to the 23rd of August 2008.

In light of this I hoped it might be possible to forward this email and the attached application form around the members of your surf lifesaving club who fit the criteria and might want the opportunity to get involved. It would also be great if you were able to print the attached poster out and display it on your club notice board or post it on your website/newsletter. If you’re unable to print do let me know and I’ll happily send a few over to you in the post.

Please do let me know via email if you’re able to help me with this.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon and many thanks in advance for your help,

All the best,

Jennifer

(apologies if the attachments have not come through, this is likely to be because your online enquiry form did not have the function. If this is the case please email me and I’ll send you them through.)
